About ATCA

All Tripura Chess Association is established in the year 1974 for the development and promotion of the game of chess all over the state of Tripura. All Tripura Chess Association is affiliated to All India Chess Federation and functions under the guidance of Tripura Olympic Association and Tripura Sports Council at State level.

All Tripura Chess Association as a non-profitable and player friendly organisation is committed to the cause of nurture and spread of game of chess in every nook and corner of Tripura. As a leading Chess organisation, All Tripura Chess Association always aim at keeping the interests of chess players by conducting regular tournaments, both rated and unrated at State Capital and districts, providing financial assistance to selected players, providing expert coaching to young talented players. But more importantly, the prime aim of the Association is to promote chess in each and every school of Tripura to encourage the school students to be in this game of brain.

Since 1974, All Tripura Chess Association has been working hard to highlight the name of Tripura at National and International level of Chess. Definitely, dreams are coming true gradually. Already with one FM, One WFM and one WCM, Association is striving hard for IMs and GMs in near future. Association also take pride of its quality International Arbiters, FIDE Arbiters and a good number of Senior National Arbiters.

Last but not the least, a steady support from all the players, parents and Chess lovers always make the working of All Tripura Chess Association smooth and easy. Obviously, we together will turn Tripura into a hub of Chess.

Our Objectives

• To organize regular state and district level chess tournaments.
• To identify and train young talents for national and international participation.
• To spread chess education and awareness in schools and communities.
• To promote chess as a tool for intellectual growth and discipline.
