The All Tripura Chess Association, in collaboration with the All India Chess Federation and the Arbiters’ Commission, organised a Senior National Arbiter Seminar and Examination at the Lions Club of Agartala, Tripura, on August 21-22, 2025.

Forty-five aspiring arbiters from Assam, Bihar, Mizoram, Manipur, West Bengal, and Tripura participated in the seminar. Mr. Swapnil Bansod, an International Arbiter and FIDE Lecturer, served as the instructor. The Co-Ordinator of the event was IA Anupam Bhattacharjee. 

During the two-day seminar, Mr. Bansod covered various topics, including the Laws of Chess, tiebreaks, tournament rules, arbiter regulations, Swiss pairings, rating regulations, title regulations, and fair play regulations.
